I am having a hard time focusing on anything for any period of time.
We had a wonderful Christmas, it was all about Madi too! She got so many fun things to play with and some very cool clothes.
there is a very big grin on her face |
Madi gives that back to me and I loved it.
She loves opening presents. She will even help others open theirs. She even says cute stuff like awwwwwww! in a little munchkin voice.
I had an incredible Christmas, I have family that are very very dear to me all year long and they worked very hard to make this a wonderful Christmas for me. The thoughtful things just kept coming. It really helped to give me some hope for the New Year and a breath of light in my life. After the never ending drudge from the last few years, this was exactly what I needed to believe in magic a little again.
I need something to change the view I had been looking at for so long and that is exactly what I got. How can it get any better than that?
Now in to the 2nd week of this new year, I am feeling positive and looking forward to the miracles and grateful and know that when they come I will be able to see them!!
Thank you, all of you, I am very lucky to have you!
Happy Monday my friends, may you be luckier than me!! I wish that so much for all of you!
How are you doing in the 2nd week of 2011? Do you feel the hope?

Oh and thank you so so much for all your prayers, healing thoughts, and well wishes for my friend Susan, she is doing really well and has a great attitude and is trying hard to rest and take it easy. It is hard to hold that woman down.
Hi Marie! Well, 2011 has been a mixed bag so far. lol! Some good stuff, some not so good. I am determined to enjoy the year, and celebrate my lovely friends, like you! I wish I could see Madi open gifts. I miss little ones a lot. Maybe I can rent one? hahaha! Happy Monday, my friend! xox Pam
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable wee one. Glad Susan is doing well...

I think I see the hope out there somewhere through all the snow!! Glad to hear your outlook is improving - the magick is still there you just have to believe....lots of love and magick to you Marie...
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your friend is doing well!
ReplyDeleteThe second week of 2011 has been very good for me. I have picked myself up out of my slump and it has started paying off. For me it helped to make a goal of trying to load my shop with 75 things--it worked to motivate me!
I am glad that you have the support of friends and family around you--and how could anyone resist the excitement of a child on Christmas?
I have to say, I am always a kid at heart. I tell my mom every year that I believe in Santa and she always looks at me funny. This year, she got two surprise gifts, that she wasn't expecting and I got an unexpected gift, delievered right before Christmas! I kept saying, see it's Santa! LOL! I know it's hard to keep that spark, like children do, but I always try! Yeh for Susan ;o))) That made my day ;o)
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying 2011. I started Jan. 1st with ART--and it seemed to set the tone for the year. I'm still reveling in the joys of Christmas, refusing to let that feeling go.
ReplyDeleteYes, I sat and watched a DVD of "The Year Without A Santa Claus" Last night because I wanted to see Heat Miser and Cold Miser! Had a ball!
I am in no hurry to push the holiday away.....I can work and still slowly take down the decs...gently returning to the somber existence that is the year at large.
Of course, around here, I am always celebrating one thing or another..... ;D
Hey, it's Monday--it was Dad's birthday---We should party!
XXOO~~♥

My dearest Marie, I am so glad you are feeling the hope again! To me that is almost more important than anything... I am doing well and feeling pretty good this year, somehow different, more intentional if you know what I mean. I hope you continue to feel better and better and allow all those miracles into your life!! Love, Silke

ReplyDeleteI'm in process of the MELD..not always comfy but completely necessary for me to find and heal me. Selfish and proud of it this year. If I don't heal me, who will?....my update in the 2nd week of January.

ReplyDeleteAm so glad you have started believing in magic again. I'm starting to too :)
I felt a little lost right after the holidays, as well. I am most thankful that that awful feeling is subsiding - as I hope it is for you, too. Sounds like you had an amazing holiday season - thank you for sharing it with us. :) I'm looking forward to growing personally and professionally in the new year - and I hope it is a spectacular one for YOU, dear friend. :) Theresa
