They really are truly gorgeous, Marie. You are very gifted - these are such stunning OOAK pieces that are so soulful. Hope you have a great day today...Theresa :)
Marie...what can I say...I see one and think ohhh shes really done it with this one...then I see the next and think its beter by far!!!lol They all are gorgeous! Have an awesome day..Beth
Hi Marie, another wonderful addition to your "Iron Angel" series! I really love the key in this one! I hope that you have a beautiful rest of your day! Giant hugs to you... Bobbi
Ooooooh, wonderful! Such teeny tiny gears! And there you go with the petals again. I cannot imagine how you put those pretty patterns in them. You are on a tear, Marie!
Love these Marie; each has a little different personality and the variation of colors is amazing in how they look so different! Thoroughly enjoying them!!!
Thank you so much Laura. The plain copper wire and the copper clay are turning out to be some of my most special pieces, I think it is the warmth of the color that appeals to me.
Marie, thanks so much for the nice words about my Examiner page! Between that, the blog, the house and kids, I've been so busy, lol! I'm so, so behind on blog reading. Your angels are just gorgeous! I don't know how you think up these wonderful ideas (much less actually make them look so wonderful!!).
Thanks Beth. You know that one thing feeds another and you try something else as you go. So as I play more comes about! It is my process of creativity and I believe we may have similar approaches to that. Sometimes pursuing an idea I may end up with 50-100 pieces.
Sweet Marie, I think that this one is my fave also- love the tones! All of the angels are gorgous- but something about this one that just really makes me swoon...well done, you!
Thanks Bobbi. I thought the key was going to be too big, but after I got it on the angel, I thought it looked fine. You have a wonderful weekend. I hope you are feeling pretty good. Love and hugs sweetie
Thank you Diana. It is the copper and the black together I have decided. They go so well together and compliment each other. Have a great day tomorrow!
Thanks so much Anne. I does make a big difference doesn't it? I use the same face on all of them too. But just handling it while I shape it changes the expression just enough. Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you Lynda. It also seems more refined to me than the other three angels. I must be getting in the swing of things. Have a wonderful day! Love and hugs.
Thanks Deb. I have a face I made a while ago that I use, I made a mold of it. And depending on the way I handle it or the color I antique it with, determines the way they look. They all look like different faces but they are the same one. Sculpting faces takes me awhile, so when I get a good one I mold it.
You must be writing all of the time Mrs.B, that and doing research too! I love the articles. Thank you for the wonderful comment on my angels, I think maybe it is a tumbling process you kind of just go and then more comes in my head. Kind of like writing a story that leads to another thought that leads to another story and so on... I am glad you are doing well though. Try to take a little time for yourself though. I am so behind too. LOL!!
It was wonderful visiting with you too!! Love and hugs.
Hi Li!! I am not working non stop ;-D, Oh how I wish I could. The little munchkin (Grand daughter Madi) that I take care of everyday would never let me do that. When I get on the computer or go to my desk to make things. She starts crying, causing problems and/or looking really cute. LOL!! She knows that grandma is here to keep her entertained, it is her whole life and the reason she was born. Thank you so much for your support, Li, it means so much to me.
I can sure understand why Angel #4 is your favorite. Mine, too! I tried to leave a comment already, but couldn't see it so I hope I'm not repeating myself...although this does bear repeating. Angel #4 is SO EXPRESSIVE. Nice balance. Found you from my friend, Jan's blog...Laughing Dog Arts. Will visit again soon. Love it!!!
I am so glad you stopped by. Please leave your words of wisdom. I look forward to them and I so enjoy reading them all. Live to love, Love to create, and create to connect. Marie
