I am feeling better thank you so much for sending me your thoughts and healing energy, it worked.
I am so glad, still coughing a little and sleeping a lot to catch up.

Remember these? I finally finished the earrings and now just need to put on wires or clips.
Up to the winner though.
I wrote all of the names out on my favorite green post-it note pad.
There 37 entries here and one on my Wordpress site.
38 total.
I cut them all apart and folded them a bunch of times all the same way, in half, and then in half, and then in half, and then in half again.

Mixed them all up several times.

Waved my hand over them a couple of times and went for the pick.

You lucky duck Janine, send me your address and decide if you want clips or wires and these lovely goodies are yours.
You do though have to claim them before 3 days has passed which will be the 29th of July at 6pm PST.

The week is almost over and the weekend is almost here.

Are you having good weather, have you been to the lake or beach yet? Are the birds in your neighborhood singing up a storm? Ours are crazy, the crows are hap hap happy! I got in the middle of a hummingbird territorial dispute this week and I was standing on the ground. They were so busy protecting their space they didn't realise I was standing there I guess. Sounded like dive bombers around my head and they were moving so fast I didn't know what was going on.

I am awaiting the arrival of the swallows. Messy but happy, darlings of the sky.

The gophers and squirrels and I have resumed our yearly fight over my garden if that is what I could call it. I plant things and they eat them, sometimes even before they sprout. I am just planting for the local rodents, I guess. It is very frustrating, but I do get a little exercise.

I am glad to be out there with them finally though. They have built runways into the garden from underground so they can make a fast getaway. I plug the holes with huge rocks and they hide the holes behind things. I only notice when there is huge mounds of dirt displaced.
Madi and I are growing a-matoes. She can not say the "t" yet. The girl loves them and will eat a whole one by herself. I can hardly wait to show her fresh ones right off the bush. I planted them in a bucket the first time and came back out 1/2 hour later and the seeds were gone, so I covered it with metal screen and you can see where they walked all over the top and tried to lift up the sides, LOL!!
They haven't got in so far. Today is a new day though, I haven't checked yet. We have small seedlings and Madi and I check them everyday. Tomatoes do really well here and the last time I grew them I had tons.
I might even attempt to can them this year, there is absolutely nothing like a home grown tomato, I probably shouldn't count my tomatoes before they bloom though.

11th giveaway- speaking of Buddha- the winner

I wrote every ones name on a very small piece of paper. There were 32 of you, with no duplicates.

I folded all the names in half and then in half again and placed them in to one of Madi's little food containers. These things are very nice for holding beads too(recycling tip of the day). They also stack very nicely.

Must save everything... I might use it in the next 20 years. LOL

I then recruited my trusty sidekick to help me.

Look! She is doing what I asked and only picked one. OK, take note please, this is probably the last time I will ever see this. I have the camera ready because I am telling her not to put it in her mouth and I think she is going to that too.

My first winner OWOH- Debbi from Diamond Grove

She wanted an angel and is an angel from what I can see on her blog and the small amount I have talked to her.

One of the reasons I love where I live. I am so sorry you have to deal with all the snow. Remind me of why I love living here when you are having a beautiful green summer and we are at the end of the summer and having fires and everything is brown. It might be a 115 sometimes, but it is a dry heat.

As Renee would say "har har har"!

Any thing over 100 degrees is just plain hot, dry or humid in my opinion.

I went in to the post last night and numbered each and every post and then deleted the two repeats.

I generated random #16 with my daughters watching and looked, there was Myra Katz.

I also read through again all of the sweet and beautiful comments. Howard and I loved each and every one as they came in, but reading them all at one time was just awesome and good for me. I am forever better because of all of you!!
