I will not be making either one of these welcome, thank you...we had an infestation of carpenter ants- they are really big and handsome- I like them but they do too much damage so they had to go, in a not so nice way...sorry God of carpenter ants, we wiped out one of your most beloved flocks...I hope to be forgiven one day... LOVE!This is from All I ever Wanted but it won't let me leave a comment unless I am anonymous for now- trouble with that lately...
Okay, this is all MY FAULT. I woke this a.m. and staggered barefoot into the bathroom. As I was deeply engrossed in the morning*think* I discovered there were flying ants crawling around all over the place! BAREFOOT AND STUCK! You know the day is going DOWNHILL from there....on the up side, it wasn't termites! Thank you Marie! And yes folks, it is easy to tell the difference....
Oh goodness! We had the ants when we came home in May. They were in the old tree trunks. Had to get rid of them with a quickness. Sure hope that you are not battling these critters.
i'm not worried one bit about you marie. you are too busy unearthing and chuckling over stupid bug graphs. this is something i will never need to know, and now i'm stuck knowing that an ant has different sized wings.
Uh-oh!!! but I know the feeling well, either or, they both do lots of damage. I walked into my house one day, and noticed a huge shimmery mass on my living room floor,,,it was termites migrating to a new home...Mine!
I am so glad you stopped by. Please leave your words of wisdom. I look forward to them and I so enjoy reading them all. Live to love, Love to create, and create to connect. Marie
Uh oh...I hope you aren't dealing with termites!
