I bent a 12 gauge copper wire into shape and then gently (oh maybe not so gently) pounded it flatter with a hammer.
I drilled through the board and made large jump rings out of 14 gauge wire.

I hung the hanger through the jump rings and tah dah!
It is very simple and I like it!

Your Buddha shrine is beautiful -- I just read the post on how you were inspired to create it. I love the colors -- turquoise and earth colors are very high up on my list of favorite colors. The Buddha inside the shrine looks so serene -- I feel I calm down just looking at him in a picture! What a wonderful effect he will have on the lucky winner. I certainly trust that your shrine will go the person who needs this item most in his or her life. :)
