Art Now for Autism

I am so proud to be able to be part of this charity, Art Now for Autism.
Art Now for Autism is an annual online fine arts and crafts exhibition and fund raiser benefiting autism awareness and research. This year's event will benefit Autism Speaks with 100% of art sales going directly to them through their National Walk Now for Autism Speaks. The reverse auction begins October 5th at 9am.
I have 3 pieces in the auction as one lot, the one above, which is a day of the dead pendant on decorative cording.

This necklace, which is millefiori pieces collaged on to a filigree piece strung with glass and millefiori beads, signed with a millefiori bead. The images you see are not painted, but layered colored clays that build the image and then cross sections are cut and drilled to make these beads.

And the matching bracelet!

There are tons of other artists and their work.
There are also 3 pages of work by artists with Autism or Asperger's Syndrome.

October 5 & 6
Reverse Auction Opens AT 9AM EST.
All Art is $90

October 7 & 8
Unsold art drops to $60 at 9AM EST on Oct. 7.

October 9 & 10
Last two days.
Final price starts at 9AM EST on Oct. 9.

Any remaining art is $30.

100% of art sales will go to Autism Speaks through their National Walk Now for Autism Speaks event.

  8. Marie...I had posted about this event on my blog to spread the word...then I find that you have donated items!
I didn't find out about donating art until after the cut-off deadline but my name is down for the next one.
I never knew we had so much in common.
Hope you raise loads of money and awareness with your work...art really can help heal.
